Sidcup
Sidcup is located to the south east of London, approximately 11 miles from Charing Cross. The town has a population of over 52,000 people.

Sidcup is home to many outdoor attractions including several parks and open spaces which complement the large houses and estates across the area.

Sidcup is also known its historic buildings, as the town originates from 1254. One popular attraction is Sidcup Place, which was built in 1743, and has now been reinvented as a pub and restaurant.

Famous residents of Sidcup include Sarah Young, famous actress who most is known for her role in The Castle of Lucretia. Other famous residents include Tim Kirkby (director), Verne Morgan (actor) and Phil Meheux (cinematographer). Illustrator Quentin Blake was born in Sidcup. Quentin Blake’s most famous work is his illustrations of Roald Dahl’s childrens’ stories such as Fantastic Mr Fox and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Sidcup has a Non-League football club called Seven Acre & Sidcup F.C.
