Cranleigh
Cranleigh is a large village located east of the A291, which connects Guildford to Horsham. It is situated 8 miles from Guildford, Surrey and has a population of over 10,000 people.

Cranleigh is known for being the largest village in England, with a larger population than most small towns.

The village is famous for opening the first cottage hospital in 1959 and every year the Cranleigh and South Eastern Agricultural Society hold the Cranleigh Show, which is a traditional agricultural show.

Cranleigh’s other attractions include a medieval church, arts centre, leisure centre and cinema.

Famous residents from Cranleigh include the former Beatle Ringo star, with his wife Barbara Bach living on the outskirts of the village.

Neighbouring towns to Cranleigh include Alfold (4 miles), Godalming (8 miles) and Horsham (11 miles).
