Norwich
Norwich is a city located on the River Wensum in England. It is the county town of Norfolk, with a population of approximately 210,000 people. Norwich is located just over 100 miles from London.

Norwich is a medieval city of England, home to many 1000 year old buildings including Norwich Cathedral and Norwich Castle.

Norwich has many cultural attractions such as the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, which focuses on local artists as well as world art and craft.

Norwich also boasts impressive outdoor attractions including the Plantation Garden, which was established in 1856 by Henry Trevor. The garden has a range of attractions including a gothic fountain, rustic bridge and Italianate terrace.

The main local football club is Norwich City, known as the Canaries. They play in the Premier League and are owned by celebrity chef Delia Smith and her husband Michael Wynn-Jones. Norwich City play their home games at Carrow Road.

Norwich is home to many past and present former residents, and claims Diana, princess of Wales among them, in fact she was born in Sandringham, located some 40 miles away). Other famous residents include Sir Alfred Munnings (artist) and Cathy Dennis (singer).

Neighbouring towns to Norwich include Hethersett (6 miles), Lingwood (8 miles), and Stalham (14 miles).
